Extension Listening Sessions
The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service (CES), like most agencies of government and education, is facing funding challenges. In an effort to confirm what is important to the farming community, the extension leaders are hosting listening sessions across the state to hear from the stakeholders. It is important for Farm Bureau leaders and other agricultural leaders to attend. Extension leaders need to hear and document farmers’ opinions concerning the future programs and direction of the CES. Visit Listening Sessions to register for a session or find contact information. The dates and locations for the listening sessions are listed below:
Dec. 3—Forsyth County Extension Center
Dec. 4—Moore County Agriculture Center
Dec. 5—East Carolina Agricultural and Education Center
Dec. 10—Schley Grange Hall
Dec. 11—Vernon G. James Research and Extension Center
